New Year, New Museum!

One gift we gave to our family this year was a membership to the new Museum of Science and History that we have in our city! It is AWESOME! I am so glad that we decided on this investment, because I am already planning to go here often when it is too hot for the Zoo this summer, but trust me-we will be outside at the Zoo often because Boston loves both it and the mini train. Boston is at such a fun age and really enjoyed the day at the museum. Here are some of the highlights:

Happy New Year!

The next few months seem to be as busy as the last: baby showers, birthday party, and Ella Reese's arrival!! Stay tuned!

Three Years Strong

Keith and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary the day before News Years Eve. I love that we had a (after) Christmas wedding for the fact that we were still able to celebrate during such a great season, but did not have the stress of planning a wedding to occur before Christmas.
Our wedding was amazing (ask anyone that attended, wink wink)! Really it was such a special day for both of us and could not have found a better husband. Man, I am lucky! I love you honey and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for our brood!

These photos were taken in front of the Church that we got married in. KB actually started this tradition as a surprise to me on our first anniversary! I love it!

We spent our night out celebrating with our good friends who actually share our same anniversary, Bronwyn and Josh! How fun! I kept joking and told a couple people that we had a double wedding:) We of course didn't, but it was interesting to see others reactions. Anyone who knows me, or Bronwyn for that matter:) knows that neither of us would have had a double wedding! We both want the attention! Hehehe! Thanks friends for sharing your anniversary date with us. We had so much fun!

More Christmas...

What a great 1st Christmas in our new home! We had a wonderful day and were so lucky to have everyone come over and spend the day. My family all made it, including both sets of Grandparents (minus Grandpa), and my cousin Galen! We also were lucky for Keith's Dad and Stepmom to spend some time with us as well. Unfortunately, we took photos with the grandparents and cousin with someone elses camera (and Keith's parents too)-so hopefully I will get copies of those! Enjoy!

P.S. Here is Boston's loot! See what I mean when I say he needs nothing for his B-Day?!? I have something else in mind instead of Birthday gifts this year, but I will save that for another post.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

When Keith and I woke this Christmas morn, this is the sight that we saw....

Boston had already discovered his golf cart and was "on the go" for the rest of his gifts!

Here he is making a pit stop for the rest of the loot!

Opening presents was his thing this year! He really "got" it and man did he enjoy himself! Wow!

Digging in his stocking and finding some Mickey Mouse flashcards.

Mama opening her gift from Boston- this kid has great taste! He knew exactly what to get his Mama!

Dada opening his gift from Boston- some new shoes! Whoo hoo!

More photos to follow, my fam is sliding (it iced!) over now for some breakfast and to spend the day. Merry Christmas!

Not a creature was stirring...

Except my husband who is busy putting together Boston's golf cart on this icy/snowy Christmas Eve! You would think Santa would have done that for us, but instead he just dropped the box off! Boston is fast asleep and I wanted to finally share some photos of our Christmas decorations up close! Enjoy, and to all a Good Night!

I wish I had taken these photos when it wasn't so light outside, but here is the tree that was in our living room that we used as our "main" tree. I didn't quite have all the gifts wrapped at this point....I LOVE to wrap though!

Here is the tree that my Sis and Patrick let us borrow this year since it was too tall to fit in their current living quarters. I was so excited to have a front window to put a tree up in! It makes me think of houses that you see in movies") I used darker decorations for this tree (and I didn't have as many as I do for our other tree, but I think it turned out pretty good. I made the bow on top).

Here is Boston's ornament for this year....I got it when I went to Chi Omega Christmas!

Our dining room with the Christmas Banner I made and the Winter letters that I found on Etsy, I love that I can leave them up longer than just at Christmas too!

Christmas cards! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE getting mail and Christmas cards are just about some of the best mail you can get! Our friends really outdid themselves this year on the cards, they all looked great!
More Cards!!! Yippe! I had a ribbon strung up and just clipped them to it when we received a new card. So fun!

These are my Christmas letters that I bought from the same lady on Etsy that made the Winter letters. I loved these so much that I bought a couple sets for friends too!

Boston's Christmas list....

This photo ornament I bought last year on sale after Christmas at potterybarn.com for just a couple bucks. I had actually forgotten about it, and was so excited when I pulled out my ornaments this year and found it!

Isn't this ornament so cute?! My friend Molly gave this to Boston and one to Ella Reese (I didn't take a photo for some reason...) Thanks Friend!

Here is Ella Reese's ornament that I bought at Chi Omega Christmas. Keith thinks it is hilarious that she received Christmas gifts this year and she technically isn't "here" yet. I love it!

Close up of the Let It Snow sign that sat in the middle of the tree. I thought it went well with the snowflakes that adorned our foliage.

Gifts...
I got this set of three trees a couple years ago at JoAnn's on a clearance. I think that they looked so great on our stairs this year! P.S. the garland on the banister was a pain in my booty! Plus it made a HUGE mess that KB so kindly vaccuumed up for me.

This is the little tree that sat right outside Boston's playroom.

Our mantle and stockings. The stockings are from Pottery Barn Kids and they don't make them anymore. Luckily I was able to find Ella Reese's on Ebay for cheap...score!

Photos on the mantle and garland

Merry Merry Christmas!

Christmas Couples Dinner

Whew! It has just been one party after the next here at the Borg house since we moved in early August, and we are lovin' it! Here are some photos from the dinner party I kept mentioning. Hopefully we can make this an annual event, but as Keith Borg keeps telling me-"if I make our calendar any fuller, we will never have time to rest!" Ha! Who needs rest, when you can par-tee! J/K, the Lord knows I am starting to feel every bit of 30 weeks pregnant and that means I am T-I-R-E-D! Enjoy the photos! Merry Christmas!
The Whole Gang: Can I just say what a GREAT group of friends Keith and I have been blessed with?! We are so, so lucky to have so many wonderful people in our lives to love and support us!
The Fellas
The Ladies
Josh and Bronwyn Gray
Group Shot
The Careys and Lauren Allen
Yummy Dinner prepared by my hubby....and I helped! (you know, like the shake and bake commercial...) Ha! But really, I did help and I have the scar to prove it! I burned myself!
The Durantes, Elizabeth and Brian
Me, LaLa, and Mel
Mel & Ingrid
My Sis and Bro in-law

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it! It was so much fun, we enjoyed having you!

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

We have been so lucky that Keith had several nights off in a row this time of year! Normally this is a really busy time for the restaurant, but luckily he was able to have a couple nights to spend with his fam before Christmas!

These photos were taken right before we loaded B up and went to look at Christmas lights! Yippee, it's one of my most favorite things to do at Christmas time! Even before we had Boston, KB and I would drive around and look at the lights. One year we invited a group of friends and rented a limo that drove us all around to check out some of the best lights in the metroplex, so fun!

Unfortunately, I forgot to actually take my camera with us to see the lights but I will say that Boston thoroughly enjoyed himself! He ooooohed and aaaaaahhed at everything, it was precious!

Sidenote: About halfway through our tour he started saying that he needed to go to the bathroom. I was like, "uh oh" because we were literally stuck in the middle of a residential area and there was not a restroom to be found other than knocking on a strangers door. I kept telling him to hold it (and I really figured he would just end of going in his pull-up, which I was fine with at that point). Eventually, he stopped talking about it and we were able to get out of the neighborhood and ready to head home. As soon as we pulled out he started up again and Keith pulled in to the first QT we saw (which had the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen in a gas station!) I ran Boston in thinking that he was probably just uncomfortable in his wet pull up and intended on changing him. But, to my surprise he was completely DRY and immediately relieved himself on the potty! I was so proud of him and you could tell he was proud of himself too! When we returned to the car, he was so excited to tell Keith:)

Enjoy the photos of our little man!
