WARNING: One CUTE trick or treater!

We have had a busy October! We concluded this month with a fun birthday party and a little trick or treating at Grammie and Paps' house. Here is Boston in his Indian costume (minus the head dress, because.....I let a 20 month old run the show apparently!)

Also, if you must know this is ONE of THREE costumes that B had for this Halloween. I enjoy this holiday so much (blame it on my childhood days of dressing up as each and every character imaginable) that I can never decide on just one costume for my sweet babe. This year he was a monkey (not so successful because he is hating all things that go on or around his head right now), a scarecrow (which I borrowed), and this cute little number below (that I actually found at the Cracker Barrel gift shop, score!) He also had three candy totes (you don't have to leave a comment telling me how ridiculous I am- I know, I know). Tonight he decided on the Mickey Mouse that we found at the store earlier in the day....he is CRAZY about Mickey Mouse right now!

At the end of the night he agreed to put on his head dress for a minute. Only after Uncle Zach said it was cool...he wasn't taking my word for it of course!

Finally, what is Halloween without some decorations?! I have been meaning to post these photos since October 1 when I began decorating, but here they finally are...

Hope everyone had a Happy & Safe Halloween!!

Boo at the Zoo

I love the Zoo, and I am so glad that Boston does too! Every year (since I was a little kid!) the Fort Worth Zoo hosts "Boo at the Zoo". They open the Zoo up after regular hours when most of the animals have gone to bed, and host a HUGE party for all the little trick or treaters! This year was especially fun because Boston was old enough to enjoy some of the games, and of course he enjoyed the candy too:) Here are some photos of our fun night (Boston was dressed as a scarecrow, thanks Rachel!):

There are a TON of carved and painted pumpkins throughout the Zoo. I wish I was a great pumpkin carver, but not so much...

This wagon was a gift from Grammie and Paps last Christmas, and it sure did come in handy this night! Boston LOVES to ride in it too!

The attempt at a family photo.....

B throwing the "fooball". He's actually got a pretty good arm!

Getting a prize! He thought that was TOO COOL!

More games...He really enjoyed this bean bag toss, the football throw, and the duck pond!

Gettin' in to his loot! At one point we looked back and he had "eaten" an entire package of smarties, wrapper and all! Yuck!

Much fun was had by all and we will of course attend again next year!

The Borg's Boo Bash 2009

Because Mommy Boston loves Halloween so much (wink, wink), I thought it would be a the perfect holiday to host our first party at our new home.

If you call 14 children under the age of 5 all under one roof, as many pumpkins as children, twice the adults, yummy food, A LOT of sweets, and a toy room that looked like a tornado swept threw it FUN, then fun-it-was!

It was really a great time, and unfortunately some of the photos I took were deleted by an inquisitive toddler that got a hold of my camera. Funny how he knew just which button to press...little stink!

Here a the few I managed to save! Here we are! Ha! This isn't a great photo, but I wanted evidence that we did attend our own party. Boston wasn't having the costume at all...he and Keith were a pair. Yes, my husband is dressed as "The Man in the Big Yellow Hat" from Curious George! He was such a good sport and even wore this costume once B ditched his! What a great Daddy and Hubby:)

Meet the Houlihans Flintstones!

Grammie and Paps: A witch and "Bob the Builder"!

The Richies AKA "The 3 Bears"

Boston and Paps AKA "Bob the Builder"

Olivia and Boston= TOO CUTE!

Emerson and LaLa

The Durantes AKA "The Clown Family" AKA "Scare Olivia to death"!

The Brawleys

The Greens (Lily the "Good Witch" was asleep!)

Mel and the cutest Dalmation ever, Lyla!

Not much time to blog, but I had to get on and see how you all like my new blog design!! My friend (someone whom I have never met, but only conversed through e-mails yet think is super-cool, Jennisa) is the brains and the beauty of this too cute design. I am pumped! I love the way it turned out!

We have been a busy brood in the Borg household, and stay tuned for some cute photos from our totally happenin' weekend that is approaching!

P.S. If you keep track or even notice how much my page is being refreshed, rest assured that I don't have a stalker.......it's just me enjoying my new page! Ha!

May I have Your Attention Please?

This guy knows a secret, and he's been dying to let it out :) He doesn't really understand secrets seeing as how he is only 20 months old. But, he would like to make an announcement if that's okay with you.

Is it okay?

Do you mind scrolling down?

Do you have a guess?

Boston would like to announce that he is going to be a BIG BROTHER to a.....

SISTER!!

Ella Reese Borg is expected to arrive in early March. We couldn't be happier, although it feels weird to say that we are having a DAUGHTER! When you are so use to all things boy, it is a overwhelming wonderful to shop in the "oh so cute" and always a ton to choose from girls section:)

Everything looked good on the ultrasound and it even looked like she was sucking her thumb! We cannot wait to meet her, we're in love!

PUMPKIN TIME!

This weekend we spent some time at the Dallas Arboretum's Pumpkin Patch, and it was SO fun! This is the same Pumpkin Patch that we visited last year and boy what a difference a year makes :) Last time we visited neither Boston nor Ainsley were walking, therefore we could sit them anywhere and they would pretty much stay (yes, they could crawl but they weren't too fast yet.) As evidenced by the photos, this year told a MUCH different story! We all had fun, but the photo ops were few and far between for my slow camera shutter. Luckily, just by chance I was able to get some pretty cute ones. Enjoy! Happy Pumpkin Time!

Look at ALL these beautiful pumpkins!

I think I'll take this one....

BLESSINGS FOR BILL

As many of you already know, last Thursday my best friends husband suffered a stroke at the young age of 38. He is currently in the Neuro ICU and slowly making process towards recovering. He is a fighter, and we believe that he will be healed and will have a heck of a story when this is all over with!

I would like to invite you to read the UPDATE BLOG that has been created and to pray for a speedy recovery for this precious family. I know that they would appreciate it. Thanks friends!
