Thanks to the Swine Flu...

Due to the latest invasion of flu in our country, my 4 and 5 year old students have become freaks concerned citizens about all the germs we spread on a daily basis. Believe me, I am proud that they are finally taking an interest in showing proper hygiene (remember, these are the same people that I have to remind to wash their hands after every bathroom break!) So, the fact that they are all consumed with germs and not getting them leads me to believe one of two things: 1. They watch too much television (probably) or 2. They pick up on their parents hysteria (probably). So, maybe it's two of two things. I am totally not trying to downplay the seriousness of what is going on right now with this whole Swine Flu virus, but I can not help but find the humor in the situation when all of my itty bitty's are asking non-stop to use the "hanitizer" (snicker). In case you are unfamiliar with hanitizer, here is a photo:

So, even if the do forget to wash their hands after a bathroom break or wipe their slobbery hands on each others faces (this really happens, it's pre-k people!) at least they have used the "hanitizer" for the umpteenth time that day:)

Let's hope this Swine Flu hits the road soon.....
