First things first: Unfortunately, my
In other yucky news: Keith came home from work late Saturday night to find water flooding out of our garage. Of course Boston and I were tucked all nicely in bed and did not know a thing was wrong! KB discovered that our hot water heater had busted and created a HUGE, not to mention inconvenient mess. We had to install a new water heater the following day...bummer. When I say "we" I actually mean Keith's Step Dad and his friend came over and did all the labor for us. We owed them a Bigtime "THANKS!" And yes, I know what you are thinking.....we had to install a brand new water heater in a home that we are moving out of in 2 weeks?! Yep...again, bummer.
The fun news is: We turned in all of the necessary paperwork for the new house today and hopefully we will close on both houses the same day....fingers crossed!! Otherwise, it looks like we will be homeless for a least a night or two. I am thinking positively that it all works out that we can get in our new house! Say a prayer!! Also, we went and looked at furniture for the new pad as well. Yippee!!! I have NEVER had new furniture!! Actually, that isn't true, the bedroom suite we have now Keith gave to me new as a Christmas gift when we lived apart. But, I have NEVER had new living room furniture or dining room furniture and we are getting both! I can't wait to start hosting holidays, etc at our new house where we will have plenty of room!!
Finally: Tonight I had Boston photographed by a great girl named Jennifer Matlock (check out her blog!!) and I am soooo excited to see how fabulous they turn out! She took about a million shots and I simply cannot WAIT to see some of them. She was so easy going and cute! She is the mother of Three little boys under 3 years, so I guess she has no choice but to be easy going :) Seriously ya'll, check out her blog- I highly recommend her as a photographer, and ya'll know that I am picky;)
Alas, this wouldn't be a post without a photo of my little man so here he is:
P.S. I have begun working on the Florida post and I hope to finish it soon!! Stay tuned!
