Because I don't know WHERE to start...

I would like to say that I haven't blogged because I have been so busy unpacking and decorating our new home that I just could NOT find the time.....but I can't say that. Or, I guess I could say that-but it wouldn't be the truth :) As I type this I am sitting amongst a half dozen boxes and more picture frames that I can count that are waiting to be hung on the wall. There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day/week/month to get everything accomplished. Someone told me that it takes about a year to get your house made in to a home, and I totally believe this to be true!

Anyway, the real reason I haven't blogged is because:
1. I have been incredibly busy with school starting back, etc.
2. I have been spending all of my computer time searching for the cutest Halloween Party ideas!!
3. I have been using the other part of my computer time checking e-mail and beginning to plan Boston's 2nd BDay party!!(Yes, it is 5 months away, but you can never be too prepared!)
4. (The REAL reason) I just have not known where to begin!!!

It seems that soooo much has happened in our lives over the past month and I have been mentally taking notes for my next blog post, that I just became so overwhelmed with what to talk about first! So, I guess I will just start from the beginning and go from there....that isn't rocket science is it?! I don't know why it took me this long to come to this conclusion, but bear with this pregnant woman, people! :)

P.S. All the "stuff" that you see in the photos, does not belong to us. These are some of the photos that I took before we put a bid on the house. The couple that lived here was in the process of moving out... I just wanted to give you an idea of what it looked like before we moved in...
Front of house...not much has changed here except we (by this I mean Keith) changed the light fixtures on either side of the garage and painted the front door black-it is a 110% improvement to the front of the house! Landscaping is next on the LONG list of things to do! Although Keith and his Mom got started on that job the other day, and the mums they planted look great!


Back (covered!) patio. None of that junk is there, but has been replaced with some of our own junk! J/K, we have our table and chairs, a grill and some of Boston's toys out there now. We hope to add some more concrete off the porch to store some more of Boston's (MANY) toys!

You may have noticed that ALL of the walls in this home were stark white! AHHHH! I know, I know, but don't you worry because thanks to my husband and several friends: EVERY room in this house now has color!! Whoo hoo! They did an awesome job and I am so proud that this is our new house:) Next on the agenda is planning a house warming.....
